Singtel’s flagship Innovation Centre showcases aspirational technologies across the whole of Singtel Group. The innovation centre curates technology and ideas across Cyber Security, Mobility, Analytics and Cloud that in turn feed in to Singtel’s capabilities in Smart Nation, Smart Living and the Smart Enterprise. The versatility and modularity of the physical space is also designed to engender dialogue and spur co-creation of new business models in the areas of digital transformation and disruption. The technology tour will showcase some of Singtel’s innovations in cutting-edge technology that will empower the digital economy, with a focus on three key themes:

Future of Retail



















  • Virtual fitting rooms
  • Manless stores with computer vision POS and cashless payments
  • Augmented Reality for tourists
  • Telco mobility data

Bringing to life technologies that will impact the retail footprint, from emerging O2O experiences to manless stores, this segment aims to spur dialogue on the future of the retail footprint for Singapore. There will also be a dialogue session on the Orchard Rd revitalisation plan, where key stakeholders in the ecosystem will be invited to take part.

Smart Urban Infrastructure



















  • 5G Beamforming and collaborative technologies such as shared projection mapping
  • Smart street lamps
  • Building energy and capacity management platforms
  • Condition Based Maintenance
  • Chatbots for citizen engagement and reporting

Besides demonstrations of 5G’s impact on cities – from coverage to collaboration opportunities, participants will experience how computer vision trained chatbots can now be used for citizen engagement, reporting and approvals.

  • AI-based analysis of workforce impact from automation
  • Smart Office spaces
  • Brand Intelligence

The Future of Work booth demonstrates shifts in technology that will impact the way we define work, workspace and the worker, facilitating an exchange of views on the impact of smart/ co-working spaces on building use in the future.
